Rosana Lanzelotte

Distinguished musician and holding a PhD in Computer Science, Dr. Rosana Lanzelotte started Musica Brasilis initiative in 2009, to provide web access to Brazilian music repertoires. The website makes available 5,000 music scores among other resources, and is monthly accessed by 45,000 users. Based on the website contents, Dr. Lanzelotte has curated six editions of interactive exhibitions, that have toured throughout Brazil. She is the author of “Sigismund Neukomm: my trip to Brazil”, a biographical essay on Neukomm’s visit to Brazil, where he started the chamber music tradition. In 2006, Dr. Lanzelotte has been named Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French government.
